Hello!

Welcome to the website of Cakemaker8 (Madeline Potter).

I am a PhD student in computer engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. My research focuses on autonomous robotics and controls theory. I completed my BS in computer engineering at the University of South Alabama in Spring 2026.

This website will feature any tools that I make and updates with the projects that I am currently working on. You can check out everything with the links at the top of this website.

Unfortunately, as I am extremely busy with research and classes, my projects currently include the following:

• Parallelized evaluation of states in 5D chess with multiverse time travel
• Esquie ISA
• Movement of a two-link robotic armature via controllers (GLaDOS)
• Whatever I am doing in lab (which will not be posted here)

However, if I ever find free time outside of school, I would like to work on the following:

• More stuff in the E33 save file parser (achievement tracking, character progressions, tints, and more editor abilities)
• Maybe a game in Godot
